Study says that 82% of the American population believe that personal injury lawyers filing lawsuits over medicines/remedies are more interested in making money than helping their clients. Currently, there are 21 states that are currently facing medical liability crisis. The numbers are crucial because 25% of patients would stop taking their medication if they saw an advertisement for a lawsuit over the drug that they are taking. In the estimation of the Congressional Budget Office, the combined effect of the two factors would be a reduction of about 0.5% of the total health care spending.
