WASHINGTON (AFP) – – People who sleep more or fewer than seven hours a day, including naps, are increasing their risk for cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the United States, a study published Sunday shows.

.

The most at-risk group was adults under 60 years of age who slept five hours or fewer a night. They increased their risk of developing cardiovascular disease more than threefold compared to people who sleep seven hours.

.

Women who skimped on sleep, getting five hours or fewer a day, including naps, were more than two-and-a-half times as likely to develop cardiovascular disease.

How Do You Value Time?

Posted by Advertiser

This generation we tend to live in a very fast paced world. Each second were really treated as gold. It is as valuable as time in New York. Well, it should be in all parts of the world. Working as a nurse, a designer, and a special agent tends to be tougher and tougher as time goes by. Because of a busy schedule I always need to make sure that I’m aware of the time. Switching timezones are difficult too. Imagine a time between Eastern and Pacific and from Standard to Daylight. That’s just too hard, ain’t it? So I make sure that I always wear a watch. It’s somehow necessary for my nursing career too because we need to make sure our patients take their medication on time. Getting a watch for me isn’t that as easy as it sound. As a designer, I want to make sure as well that it reflects my personality and my profession as well. Two years ago, I bought this dolce and gabbana watch which I still get to use once in a while. I just love how it add something to my looks. It made me feel that watches can’t just be useful. It can also be cool!

Thinking About Where to Spend Your Holiday?

Posted by Advertiser

How to spend your holiday whenever you try to file a leave from work is most of the time the stressful part having a quality vacation. There are a lot of places that I know each one of us is actually interested to visit. Some out-of-town, while some prefer it to be more challenging and worthwhile so getting a vacation out of the country is also one of the choices of any individual who plan to have a worth keeping holiday. Working as a nurse and a designer at the same time is sometimes stressful especially when there is a heavy work load. So I have thought that maybe I deserve to give myself some treat last Spring. And I felt like it would not be worthwhile if I only go on vacation just for myself so I decided to look for holiday packages so I can enjoy my vacation with my family. I have decided to spend my vacation with my family in Spain. It was Spring and going to a beach is also as exciting as it is in Summer. There was a great package for some villas in Spain that are really of good deals so I decided to take one of them. Since it was a European country that we visited, it became a lot easier for us to visit other nearby countries too like Germany, Austria, France, Greece, and Italy. Because the holiday specialist I had also offers packages from other countries I mentioned, we were able to save a lot since we took 6 packages for all of the countries we visited for the whole month. You might be surprised to know that it didn’t even reach a 5-digit to get a vacation for all those country destinations. Of course, that does not include the airfare but it was really affordable. I still had a lot of extra bucks to use for shopping!
